The monument to the victims of the World Wars stands in the park in front of the church. It consists of a square base, which is tiled with grey granite. A stepped pedestal stands on it, bearing a memorial plaque of black stone set into the front. The text on the plaque is dedicated to the victims of World War II. The centrepiece of the monument is a grey granite obelisk, which bears a cross and dedication to the victims of World War I at the top, while a list of the victims of that conflict is inscribed below on the front and back sides of the obelisk. Both the graphic element and the inscriptions are engraved and finished in gold.

OBČANÉ IVÁNĚ. L.P. 1939-1945
The monument to the victims of World War I was erected on the initiative of the municipality in 1922 with the financial support of a public collection. It was built by the Karel Racek company from Brno at a cost of CSK 12,000.
After the end of World War II, local residents initiated the addition of a memorial plaque dedicated to the victims of the Nazi occupation.
The village of Ivaň was home to several Roma families who became victims of Nazi racial persecution during World War II. Their members were first taken to the gathering point in the stables in Masná Street in Brno and then deported to the Auschwitz II-Birkenau concentration and extermination camp. This certainly included František Daniel, Maria Daniel, Růžena Daniel, Štěpánka Daniel, Vincenzo Malík, Amália Malíková, Filoména Malíková, Maria Malíková, Antonín Tománek, Božena Tománková and Dáša Tománková.
The municipal chronicle mentions that local Jews and Roma were deported to concentration camps in Terezín, Auschwitz and elsewhere. According to this historical source, only Vincenc and Rudolf Malík returned from the concentration camps after the end of World War II. Rudolf Malík subsequently moved to Dolní Dunajovice, from where the German residents had previously been expelled.
